Are you passionate about quality education?
Are you intrigued with science?
Do you love working with kids?

Schmahl Science Workshops needs you!

We are looking for committed volunteers to assist the SSW Instructors with inschool and/or after school workshops on a regular (as little as one morning or afternoon per week) basis.  As a member of our team, you will play an important role in bringing innovative hands-on, experiment based science to students of all ages.

While SSW works with all age groups, most of our volunteer opportunities during the school year will be at either the In-School and Afterschool elementary or middle school level; and our Seminar and Individual Research Programs.

SSW is located in San Jose, California and our workshops are offered in multiple locations across the South Bay, Fremont and as far north as Palo Alto and Union City.  If you can regularly commit to at least one half-day per week, can pass the required finger print/background check and supply a negative TB test result certificate, we want to speak with you.

Please contact us, if you are interested in joining Schmahl Science Workshops in our quest to enable students to explore and invent what inspires them and to develop the skills needed to achieve in all areas of their lives.
