• Are you passionate about quality education?
  • Are you intrigued with science?
  • Do you love working with kids?

Schmahl Science Workshops needs you!

We have a great year planned!

We are looking for committed VOLUNTEERS to assist the SSW Instructors with inschool and/or after school workshops on a regular basis starting in September 2014. As a member of our team, you will play an important role in bringing innovative hands-on, experiment based science to students of all ages.

While SSW works with all age groups, most of our volunteer opportunities during the school year will be at either the In-School and Afterschool elementary or middle school level; and our Fundamental and Advanced Science Research Programs.

SSW is located in San Jose, California and our workshops are offered in multiple locations across the South Bay, Fremont and as far north as Palo Alto. If you can regularly commit to at least one half-day per week, can pass the required finger print/background check and supply a negative TB test result certificate, we want to speak with you.

Please contact us, if you are interested in joining Schmahl Science Workshops in our quest to enable students to explore and invent what inspires them and to develop the skills needed to achieve in all areas of their lives.
